GAIL VAREILLES SONGWRITING LICENSING AND PUBLISHING
Sandshifter Music was founded by multi award winning songwriter, Gail Vareilles, who is a writing partner with hit show "Glee" music producer and many times Grammy nominated songwriter/producer Tommy Faragher. Tommy is also writer of writer of several top 10 hits, with cumulative sales of over 12 million units for major stars such as, BB King, Dusty Springfield, Peter Criss, Hall & Oates, Al Green, The O'Jays, Taylor Dayne, among many others. Both Gail and Tommy were recent Music Producers of a film starring Mickey Rourke. Faragher and Vareilles have already enjoyed winning 20 awards for songs they wrote together.
Gail has numerous professional licensing credits and she is currently a songwriter/composer for Nickelodeon's popular "Dora the Explorer" show" . Gail has licensed many of her songs to film and TV, iphone apps, video games and she also has numerous artist cuts. Gail is currently writing for American Idol's Top 10 finalist, Tim Urban and also writing pop/reggae star Jovi Rockwell’s new album.
One of the songs on this album "Wonderful Thing" was a recent semi-finalist in the International Songwriting Competition and was selected to be on a music feedback panel at the ASCAP Expo 2011.
